Klaus Madritsch

Klaus Madritsch (born September 6, 1943 in Neumarkt ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) at rest. From 1989 to 2008 he was a member of the Tyrolean state parliament .

Klaus Madritsch attended elementary school in Jenbach from 1949 to 1953 and then until 1957 the secondary school in Schwaz . He then graduated from the Innsbruck Teacher Training College and passed the Matura in 1962. He acquired the license to teach elementary, secondary and polytechnic schools and worked as a teacher from 1962. He first worked at the Bruck am Ziller elementary school from 1962 to 1963 and then moved to the Fiecht secondary school . From 1984 to 1994 he was director of the secondary school in Weer .

In addition to his work as a teacher, Madritsch studied educational science and psychology at the University of Innsbruck from 1976 . In 1981 he completed his studies with a doctorate. From 1982 to 1994 Madritsch also worked as a professor of human sciences at the Religious Education Academy in Schwaz.

Klaus Madritsch was district chairman of the Workers 'and Salaried Employees' Association in Schwaz between 1988 and 2004 . On April 4, 1989, Madritsch entered the Tyrolean state parliament as a member of parliament. From 1989 to 1994 he was chairman of the committee for art, culture and school, between 1994 and 2003 chairman of the legal and municipal committee and since 2003 chairman of the committee for legal, municipal and building affairs. Since April 5, 1994 he was also the chairman of the state parliament club of the Tyrolean People's Party . Since Madritsch had not received a secure place on the state list for the state elections in 2008, he left the state parliament on July 1, 2008.

In 2010 Madritsch received the Tyrolean Decoration of Honor .
