Klaus Peter (also Claus Peter ; born March 27, 1940 in Cottbus ) is a former German hammer thrower .
biography
Peter was GDR hammer throw champion in 1960 . He then entered the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome , but did not manage to qualify for the final in a hammer throw , and took 17th place.
