Klaus Richter (born 1936 in Radebeul ; died 2001 in Jena ) was a German author, biologist and university lecturer .

Life

Klaus Richter studied biology in Jena and graduated with a doctorate in 1964 . In 1965 he took over as head of a research group at the Saxon Academy of Sciences in Leipzig. In 1974 he received his habilitation and from 1990 Richter took over an honorary professorship for animal physiology at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena .
