Klaus Tweer

Klaus Tweer (born January 31, 1942 ; † June 7, 2012 ) was a German local politician of the SPD and from 1994 to 1999 district administrator of the Märkisches Kreis .

Life

The trained toolmaker was a member of the city council of Halver from 1969 , where he became deputy chairman of the SPD council group, which he took over in 1972. From 1975 to 1979 and again from 1984 to 1994 he was honorary mayor of Halvers. From 1994 to 1997 he was first honorary district administrator and then until 1999 full-time district administrator of the Märkisches Kreis. In addition, he was temporarily chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the Arnsberg Bezirksplanungsrat and member of the Regional Assembly of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe .
