Klaus father

Klaus Vater (born March 22, 1946 in Mechernich ), graduated from high school in Euskirchen, studied political science, initially worked as a news editor and was an adviser to the SPD parliamentary group from 1990 to 1999. He later became deputy spokesman for the German federal government . He took over from Thomas Steg , who was given leave of absence for the 2009 federal election campaign to work as a media advisor for the SPD chancellor candidate Frank-Walter Steinmeier . Father was previously press spokesman for the Federal Ministry of Health under Ulla Schmidt , spokesman for labor minister Walter Riester , agency, daily newspaper and “ Vorwärts ” editor. In 2001 his first literary work was published, the youth detective novel "Son of a Dealer". In 2002, the children's jury for the "Emil" literary prize chose the book as children's crime fiction of the year. In 2011 his detective novel "Am Abgrund" appeared as Kappe's 13th case in the series "It happened in Berlin". In the novel, Commissioner Cap investigates Caspar Leiblein, who, like part of Klaus Father's real Mechernich ancestors, is a Yenish man .
