Klaus Wiegrefe

Klaus Wiegrefe (* 1965 ) is a German journalist and historian.

Life

The historian with a doctorate has been responsible for contemporary history as an editor in the politics department of Spiegel since 1997 . In 2005 he published the much discussed study “Das Zerfnis. Helmut Schmidt , Jimmy Carter and the crisis in German-American relations ”. He is co-editor of the SPIEGEL / DVA books “The First World War”, “The Second World War” and “The 50s”.
