Klaus Wolfertstetter (* 1977 in Munich ) is a German screenwriter and writer .

Life

After leaving school, he worked for TV productions in Munich, then worked as a copywriter in Cologne and studied film at the International Film School in Cologne from 2002 to 2005 , with a focus on screenwriting. He is a member of the Association of German Scriptwriters .

Together with Karin Kaçi he created the youth book series Die Klasse for Thienemann Verlag . In each volume, the two authors tell from the life of another 9c student at the fictional 'Willy Brandt Gymnasium'. The narrative technique used here, in which a recurring narrative space is told from the perspective of different characters, is reminiscent of the dramaturgy of TV series. A special feature of this youth book series is the simultaneous publication of two series titles, one with a female and one with a male main character.
