Klaus Zedler (born April 23, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player .

Zedler began his professional career at Rot-Weiss Essen . He played in the Bundesliga with the team from Hafenstrasse in the 1976/77 season . Zedler was in the squad with players like Werner Lorant and Horst Hrubesch . Essen was relegated to the bottom of the table in the northern season of the 2nd Bundesliga and Zedler played six games. He switched to KSV Baunatal . With the KSV he entered the southern season of the 2nd division for a year. At the season finale, Baunatal was able to hold the class with a point ahead of a relegation place. Zedler contributed three goals in 33 games. He spent a year in Switzerland for FC Friborg before two seasons for the VVV-Venlo in the Netherlands aground and then ended his career.
