Klawdija Ivanovna Nikolajewa ( Russian Клавдия Ивановна Николаева ; * 1893 in Saint Petersburg , † December 28, 1944 in Moscow ) was a Russian revolutionary and suffragette.
The bookbinder Nikolayeva joined the Bolsheviks as early as 1909 . In 1917 she became editor of the journal Rabotnitsa (The Worker). After the October Revolution , she assumed high party offices. She was awarded the Order of Lenin , among other things . She was a member of the Left Opposition to Stalinism, but capitulated in February 1927.
Klavdiya Nikolaeva died in Moscow in 1944. Her urn was buried in the necropolis on the Kremlin wall .
