Klawer is a town in Matzikama municipality , West Coast District , Western Cape Province in South Africa . In 2011 it had 6,234 inhabitants.
The town was named after growing there wild clover (English: clover ). It is located 285 kilometers north of Cape Town between the Matzikama Mountains in the east and the Olifant in the west.
Attractions
During the spring bloom, the arid landscape changes into a flower paradise. The nearby Doring is known for rafting .
Klawer is a central point from which the other cities in the region,
