history

A Hainricus de Malgaozing appears for the first time in a document from 1292. At the beginning of the 14th century, Kleeberg, which was then still called Malgassing , was owned by the Poppenbergers. A castle is mentioned as early as 1420. In 1501 Christoph Lochner sold Kleeberg to Georg von Ruhstorf. Around 1510 it came into the possession of Diepold Auer von Dobl, whose family was able to hold the Hofmark Kleeberg until the beginning of the 17th century.

In 1611 Andreas Georg von Perlaching acquired the shares of his wife Maria Sara Auer's siblings on Treflstain. In 1648, Kleeberg was bought by Georg von Ruhstorf. Kleeberg kept the noble family of Ruhstorf until it died out in 1735. The sister of the last Ruhstorfer was married to a Count Fränking . By marrying their daughter, Maximilian Ferdinand von Tauffkirchen became lord of the court. The Counts of Tauffkirchen remained in possession of the Hofmark, which was assigned to the Griesbach district court, until the 19th century .

The patrimonial court II. Class Kleeberg, which was confirmed on February 20, 1821, emerged as the successor to Hofmark . It was responsible for 75 people behind the scenes , had its seat in Kleeberg and was in the hands of the Counts of Tauffkirchen. The administration was transferred to the court holder of Count Jonner zu Tettenweis . It existed until the patrimonial courts were abolished in 1848.

Politically, Kleeberg belonged to the community of Ruhstorf from 1818.
