Villemanoche is a French municipality with 670 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Sens and the canton of Pont-sur-Yonne . The inhabitants are called manochons .
geography
Villemanoche is about 13 kilometers north-northwest of Sens . The Yonne limits the municipality in the northeast. Villemanoche is surrounded by the neighboring communities Courlon-sur-Yonne in the north, Serbonnes in the north and north-east, Michery in the north-east, Pont-sur-Yonne in the east and south-east, Saint-Sérotin in the south, Lixy in the south-west and Champigny in the west.
