Courtois-sur-Yonne is a French municipality with 769 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . Courtois-sur-Yonne belongs to the Arrondissement of Sens and the canton of Pont-sur-Yonne (until 2015: Canton Sens-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Courtoisiens .
geography
Courtois-sur-Yonne is located about three kilometers north-north-west of the city center of Sens on the Yonne , which borders the municipality to the east. Courtois-sur-Yonne is surrounded by the neighboring communities Villenavotte in the north, Saint-Denis-lès-Sens in the east and northeast, Saint-Martin-du-Tertre in the south and Nailly in the west.
The A19 autoroute runs through the municipality .
