Molinons is a French commune with 277 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It is part of the canton of Brienon-sur-Armançon (until 2015: Canton of Villeneuve-l'Archevêque ).

Molinons is about 18 kilometers east-northeast of Sens and about 48 kilometers west-southwest of Troyes . Molinons is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lailly in the north and northwest, Courgenay in the northeast, Villeneuve-l'Archevêque in the east and northeast, Flacy in the east and southeast, Les Sièges in the south and Foissy-sur-Vanne in the west.
