Serbonnes is a French village with 626 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Sens and the canton of Thorigny-sur-Oreuse (until 2015: canton of Sergines ). The inhabitants are called Serbonnais .

Serbonnes is about 14 kilometers north-northeast of Sens on the Yonne . Serbonnes is surrounded by the neighboring communities Courlon-sur-Yonne in the north and west, Sergines in the north and northeast, Michery in the east and southeast and Villemanoche in the southwest.
