Paron is part of the Arrondissement of Sens and the Canton of Gâtinais en Bourgogne (until 2015: Canton Sens-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Martinots .

Collemiers is about four kilometers southwest of downtown Sens . Collemiers is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Paron in the north, Gron in the east, Égriselles-le-Bocage and Cornant in the south and southwest, Villeneuve-la-Dondagre in the southwest and Subligny in the west and northwest.
