Cudot is a French commune in the Yonne department ( Region Bourgogne Franche-Comté ) in Arrondissement Sens and in the canton of Joigny (2015: Canton Saint-Julien-du-Sault ). The community has 345 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), who are called Cudotiens .

Cudot is about 37 kilometers west-northwest of Auxerre . Cudot is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Loup-d'Ordon in the north and north-west, Saint-Martin-d'Ordon in the north, Verlin in the north-east, Précy-sur-Vrin in the east and Charny Orée de Puisaye in the south and west.
