Passy is a French commune with 1,955 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Sens and the canton of Villeneuve-sur-Yonne (until 2015: Canton Sens-Sud-Est ).

Passy is nine kilometers south of Sens on the Yonne . Passy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Véron in the north, Villeneuve-sur-Yonne in the south and east and Marsangy in the west.
