Lailly is a French commune with 192 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It is part of the canton of Brienon-sur-Armançon (until 2015: Canton of Villeneuve-l'Archevêque ).

Lailly is about 18 kilometers east of Sens and about 51 kilometers west-southwest of Troyes . Lailly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Maurice-aux-Riches-Hommes in the north, Courgenay in the north and east, Molinons in the east and south-east, Foissy-sur-Vanne in the south, Les Clérimois in the south-west, Voisines in the west and La Postolle in the West and northwest.
