Villeroy is a French municipality with 390 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). Villeroy belongs to the Arrondissement Sens and the canton Gâtinais en Bourgogne (until 2015 Chéroy ).

Villeroy is about five miles west-southwest of downtown Sens . Villeroy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villebougis in the north and north-west, Nailly in the north and north-east, Subligny in the south and east and Fouchères in the west and south-west.
