Cerisiers is a French municipality with 984 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . Cerisiers belongs to the Arrondissement of Sens and the canton of Brienon-sur-Armançon (until 2015: canton of Cerisiers ).

Cerisiers is about 16 kilometers east-southeast of downtown Sens . Cerisiers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Vallées de la Vanne in the north, Vaudeurs in the east, Villechétive in the south, Dixmont in the southwest and Vaumort in the west.

The former route nationale 5 (today's D905) runs through the municipality .
