La Postolle is a French commune with 143 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It is part of the canton of Brienon-sur-Armançon (until 2015: Canton of Villeneuve-l'Archevêque ). The inhabitants are called postolliers .
geography
La Postolle is about 20 kilometers northeast of Sens and about 56 kilometers west of Troyes . La Postolle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Perceneige in the north, Saint-Maurice-aux-Riches-Hommes in the northeast, Lailly in the east and southeast, Voisines in the south and southwest and Thorigny-sur-Oreuse in the west.
