Fouchères is a French municipality with 469 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). Fouchères belongs to the Arrondissement Sens and the canton Gâtinais en Bourgogne (until 2015 Chéroy ). The inhabitants are called Folchériens .
geography
Fouchères is about eleven kilometers west-southwest of the city center of Sens . Fouchères is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villebougis in the north, Villeroy in the east, Subligny in the south-east, Villeneuve-la-Dondagre in the south and Saint-Valérien in the west and south-west.
