Nailly is a French commune with 1,299 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . Nailly belongs to the Arrondissement of Sens and the Canton of Gâtinais en Bourgogne (until 2015: Canton Sens-Ouest ).

Nailly is about four kilometers northwest of downtown Sens . Nailly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villeperrot in the north, Villenavotte in the north-east, Courtois-sur-Yonne in the east, Saint-Martin-du-Tertre in the east and south-east, Paron in the south-east, Villeroy in the south, Villebougis in the west and south-west and Saint- Sérotin in the northwest.

The A19 autoroute runs through the municipality .
