Cuy is a French village with 862 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Sens and the canton of Thorigny-sur-Oreuse (until 2015 Pont-sur-Yonne ). The inhabitants are called Cuistrats .

Cuy is about eight kilometers north-northwest of Sens . Cuy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Évry in the north, La Chapelle-sur-Oreuse in the northeast, Soucy in the east, Saint-Denis-lès-Sens in the south, Villeperrot in the west and Gisy-les-Nobles in the northwest.
