Subligny is a French municipality with 510 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . Paron is part of the Arrondissement of Sens and the Canton of Gâtinais en Bourgogne (until 2015: Canton Sens-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Sublignois .

Subligny is about five kilometers west-southwest of downtown Sens . Subligny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villeroy and Nailly in the north, Paron in the northeast, Collemiers in the south and east, Villeneuve-la-Dondagre in the south and southwest and Fouchères in the west.

The A19 car route runs along the western edge of the municipality .
