Armeau is located about 20 kilometers south-southeast of the city center of Sens on the Yonne . Armeau is surrounded by the neighboring communities Villeneuve-sur-Yonne in the north, Dixmont in the east and northeast, Villevallier in the south and Saint-Julien-du-Sault in the west.
