Rosoy is a French commune with 1,122 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Sens and the Canton of Sens-2 (until 2015: Canton Sens-Sud-Est ). The inhabitants are called Rosaltiens .
geography
Rosoy is five kilometers south-southeast of downtown Sens on the Yonne . Rosoy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sens in the north and northwest, Maillot in the north and northeast, Malay-le-Grand in the east and northeast, Véron in the south, Étigny in the west and southwest and Gron in the west.
