Bagneaux is a French municipality with 209 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Sens and the canton of Brienon-sur-Armançon (until 2015 Villeneuve-l'Archevêque ). The inhabitants are called Balnéotiens .

Bagneaux is located on the Vanne , about 30 kilometers east-northeast of Sens . Bagneaux is surrounded by the neighboring communities Courgenay in the north and northwest, Planty in the northeast, Vulaines in the east, Flacy in the south and Villeneuve-l'Archevêque in the west.
