Theodor Hurrle

Theodor Hurrle (born December 8, 1919 in Ottenau ; † February 21, 1997 in Karlsruhe ) was a German trade union secretary and politician ( SPD ). From 1972 to 1984 Hurrle was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg (MdL).

Life

After attending elementary school , Theodor Hurrle began an apprenticeship as a toolmaker at Daimler-Benz and passed his master craftsman examination in 1948. Between 1940 and 1945 he did his military service . From 1957 Hurrle was a member of the works council at Daimler-Benz and later union secretary at IG Metall .

Theodor Hurrle had been a member of the SPD since 1954. From 1956 he was a member of the city council of Gaggenau and acted there from 1968 as deputy mayor. Since 1959, Hurrle was also a member of the district council of the Rastatt district . In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 1972 for the 6th parliamentary term (1972–1976), the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 1976 for the 7th electoral period (1976–1980) and the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 1980 for the 8th Election period (1980–1984) Theodor Hurrle was able to win the second mandate in the Rastatt state constituency .

On May 7, 1988 , Theodor Hurrle was awarded the Baden-Württemberg Medal of Merit .
