Daniel Schlipf (* 1985 in Waldbröl ) is a German presenter , reporter and singer . Schlipf achieved fame under his stage name Daniel Danger as a reporter on 1LIVE .

Life

In 2010 Schlipf achieved his Bachelor of Arts after studying literature at the University of Siegen . From 2010 to 2012 he worked as a volunteer at Radio Berg . Since 2012 he has been a presenter and reporter for WDR 5 and 1LIVE , at 1LIVE under the name Daniel Danger . In 2015 he was awarded the Kurt Magnus Prize for his work .

In the summer of 2016, Schlipf and the 257ers produced the Ballermann song Kleine Maus , which Schlipf also sang. A few days after a live performance in Mallorca's mega-park , the song climbed to the top of the German single charts.

In 2018, Schlipf tried to participate in the 2018 World Cup as the third goalkeeper for the German national soccer team . At the press conference to nominate the players for the provisional squad, coach Joachim Löw gave these plans a clear refusal after several journalists asked for Schlipf to participate. This was preceded by Schlipfs goalkeeper training with the first team from Borussia Mönchengladbach and a Danger campaign for Germany , in which more than 30 stars campaigned for Schlipf to participate.

Shortly after the cancellation, Schlipf and Max Giesinger recorded the song Deutscher Weltmeister , which was in the meantime at number 26 in the German download charts.
