from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Forsthaus Seebeck is a deserted area in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland .

The desert is located in Upper Pomerania , about 80 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 30 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) , near the northern bank of the Studnica (Steudnitzsee) .

At this point was the Vorwerk Klein Seebeck , which belonged to the manor in Sternin ; Nearby was the Groß Seebeck plant . In Ludwig Wilhelm Brüggemann's detailed description of the current state of the Royal Prussian Duchy of Western and Western Pomerania (1784), Sternin mentions "the farms and knights' seats, Seebeck and Goehl laid out on the so-called common heath". Small Seebeck was after 1846 the rural community Seebeck Popiel assigned to that in the separation was formed of the surrounding communities. Heinrich Berghaus (1867) lists Klein Seebeck as a preliminary work in this context. Around 1863, however, Klein Seebeck returned to the Sternin estate .

From 1904 onwards, Klein Seebeck formed part of the newly formed Sophienwalde forest estate . The area was reforested and the Seebeck forester's lodge was created in place of the Vorwerk . With the dissolution of the forest estate district in 1928, Forsthaus Seebeck was incorporated into the municipality of Reselkow . Until 1945, Forsthaus Seebeck formed a residential area for the Reselkow community and belonged to the Kolberg-Körlin district .

After 1945, like all of Western Pomerania, Forsthaus Seebeck came to Poland. Today the place is desolate . The desert is in the area of the Polish Gmina Rymań (rural community Roman) .
