Little heroes, great wilderness 2 - Adventure Serengeti (Original title: Against the Wild 2: Survive the Serengeti ) is a Canadian youth - adventure film from the year 2016. The main roles are John Paul Ruttan and Ella Ballentine seen. It is a sequel to the 2013 film Little Heroes, Big Wilderness .

The siblings Ryan and Emma want to visit their father, who works in Africa . On the way to him, the small plane crashes with the children. Both survive unharmed, but have to fight their way through the Serengeti savannah on their own. While her worried mother, terrified for the lives of her children, organizes a search, the children learn to survive in the wild. Eventually they will be found.

The film tells a similar story to the 2013 television movie Little Heroes, Big Wilderness , which was also directed by Richard Boddington . In this, however, the Canadian wilderness served as the setting. Accordingly, Survive the Serengeti was also announced and marketed under the title Against the Wild 2: Survive the Serengeti . The shooting took place in South Africa in 2015.
The film was released in the United States on February 26, 2016. In Germany it was released on DVD and Blu-ray in February 2017.
