The Little Neva ( Russian Малая Нева , Malaja Njewa ) is the smaller right arm in the Neva Delta in Saint Petersburg .
It begins at the tip of Vasilyevsky Island (Стрелка Васильевского острова) and is about 4.25 km long. Its width varies between 200 and 400 meters. The Little Neva is between 3 and 7 m deep. Together with the Little Nevka (Малая Невка) it flows into the Neva Bay (Невская губа) between the Petrovsky Island (Петровский остров) and the Cross Island (Крестовский остров ).
On Petrovsky Island, the football club Zenit St. Petersburg (Russian ФК «Зенит» Санкт-Петербург / FK “Senit” Saint Petersburg) plays in the Petrovsky Stadium in the Premjer League .
The Smolenka and the Zhdanovka flow into the Little Neva .
The Little Neva is crossed by two bridges, the Stock Exchange Bridge and the Tuchkov Bridge .
