The small Medower See is located in the Sternberg lake landscape southeast of Goldberg in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is roughly triangular in shape. The body of water shares a basin with the Großer Medower See and the Woostener See . The lakeshore is not forested. The eponymous Goldberg district Medow is not far to the west and the Great Medower See is north of the lake. It is connected to this via a ditch. The maximum depth of the water is around 3.5 meters.
