The Kleine Peetschsee is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District in southern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The lake is located south of Mirow next to the Diemitzer lock .
The size of the apple-shaped lake is about 160 meters by 130 meters. The inflow into the Kleiner Peetschsee is at the northwestern end and comes via the Diemitzer Schleuse, the Großer Peetschsee and the Vilzsee . The outflow is located at the northeast end of the lake and takes place via an approximately 20 meter wide channel into the Labussee. The Kleine Peetschsee belongs to the 32 kilometer long federal waterway of the Müritz-Havel waterway .
