The Kleine Priepertsee is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District about 7.5 kilometers southeast of Wesenberg .

It belongs to the Neustrelitz Kleinseenland and is part of the Havel . The size of the egg-shaped lake is about 300 by 400 meters. The tributary is at the northeastern end of the lake and comes from the Wangnitzsee and the Havel from the direction of Wesenberg. The drain is located at the southwest end and flows into the Great Priepertsee . The runoff into the Great Priepertsee is barely noticeable due to its width. The inflow from Wangnitzsee, on the other hand, has a canal-like character.
