Kleinvillars is a small town in the Enzkreis , which has been part of the city of Knittlingen since 1972 .

history

Kleinvillars was founded by the Waldensians and is located between Ölbronn and Knittlingen . The town center leans on a slope to the east, and the houses face the main street with their gables. The 379 refugees were originally supposed to be settled in what is now Großvillars - coming from Villar Perosa in 1699 . But Oberderdingen the number of strangers in the neighborhood was too large, and so the settlement of Petit Villars was built south of Knittlingen on the border with Ölbronn.

On February 15, 1972, Kleinvillars was incorporated into the city of Knittlingen.
