Kleinwernfeld is a district of Gemünden am Main in the Main-Spessart district in Bavaria .

The place is on the left bank of the Main at 150 m above sea level. NN at Kreisstraße 11 between Harrbach and Hofstetten . Wernfeld is on the other side of the Main . Kleinwernfeld was first recorded in writing in 1349 as the Kleinen-Wernvelt . At that time the village was still owned by the Counts of Rieneck . In 1818, the Wernfeld and Kleinwernfeld political community emerged.

The municipality of Wernfeld was incorporated into the city of Gemünden am Main on January 1, 1976. Thus, Kleinwernfeld became a district of the city of Gemünden.
