Klement Ortloph

Klement Ortloph (born May 21, 1890 in Munich ; † September 24, 1973 ) was a German politician ( CSU ) and a member of the Bavarian state parliament .

Life

Ortloph completed the district arable school in Triesdorf and until 1914 various internships in agricultural businesses. After participating in the First World War , he was a district arable builder in Ingolstadt and administrator of the Holzen and Nannhofen estates. From 1920 he belonged to the district chamber of farmers in Ingolstadt. From 1924 to 1933 he acted as district secretary of the Bavarian Farmers' Association in Regensburg and as editor of the Regensburger Allgemeine Zeitung . During the time of National Socialism he worked as a tax and economic consultant. After the war ended in 1945 he was one of the founders of the CSU in Bavaria. In 1946 he became chairman of the CSU district association in Upper Palatinate and represented the party in the state constitutional assembly . From 1946 to 1958 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . In addition, he was chairman of the agricultural state school council and the association of former Triesdorf district agricultural students.
