history

The municipality of Klenau, founded in 1818 with the Bavarian municipal edict, with the suburbs Arnsried, Brenntenholz, Forsthof, Hasenhof, Junkenhofen, Lacherbauer (Lahnbauer), Voglhof and Wüstersberg, lost its independence on January 1, 1978 and was incorporated into the municipality of Gerolsbach.

Architectural monuments

The Catholic parish church of St. Andrew dates from 1854.
The rectory was built in 1852.
