Alberzell is a part of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Gerolsbach in the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district .

history

In the Carolingian times, the place was documented as the "Cella" of an Alprih. The core of the Catholic branch church of the Holy Cross dates from the 14th / 15th centuries. Century. The community founded in 1818 with the Bavarian community edict with the suburbs Einsassen, Garbertshausen, Graham, Hickern, Hörzell and Mammertshausen lost its independence on January 1, 1978 and was incorporated into the Gerolsbach community.
