Climbing construction

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Climbing construction is a construction technique in which the scaffolding moves with it. It represents a possible alternative to the sliding design.

The climbing construction is often used for tall structures. This construction is known from the middle of the 20th century. The climbing construction method was used for the Berlin television tower , which was built in the 1960s. The Uniqa Tower in Vienna, two cooling towers of the Neurath power plant and the bunker of the waste incineration plant in Zistersdorf were also built using climbing construction .
