Klibühni Chur
The Klibühni ( Chur German dialect word for small stage ) in Chur in the canton of Graubünden is the second theater in the canton capital after the city theater . It is located at Kirchgasse 14 in the old town next to the Antistitium and specializes in cabaret , pantomime and cabaret .
The Klibühni has its origins in the cultural awakening in the early 1970s. Today's Chur Festival as a meeting place for young people emerged from the Klibühni Festival , which was held for the first time in 1975 to finance the Klibühni's theater work.
The Klibühni is supported by an association. It has existed as a theater since 1974 and has performed in the current premises since 1982. It is also subsidized from the city of Chur's culture fund.
