Notre-Dame-des-Trois-Vallées in La Bussière-sur-Ouche ( Département Côte-d'Or ), better known today as Abbaye de La Bussière (Buxeria) is a former Cistercian abbey in Burgundy .

The abbey was founded in 1131 by Stephan Harding , the third abbot of Cîteaux , and was abolished in the French Revolution. In 2005 a family from Great Britain took over the property in order to establish a luxury castle hotel there.

Fontenay

The church, built around the middle of the 12th century, is based on Fontenay : three-aisled basilica with a transept with rectangular chapels and rectangular choir, in the central nave without a cliff. The nave was shortened by several yokes after the French Revolution. Several buildings have survived from the monastery complex, in particular the 13th century cellier des moines ("monk's cellar") with a two-aisled cross - vaulted hall on the ground floor and a historic wine press on the upper floor.
