The Klostermarienberg as the founding of Lilienfeld in Klostermarienberg in the municipality Manner der Rabnitz in the district of Oberpullendorf in Burgenland is under monument protection and was also named to 2014 European Dog Museum used.
The monastery was built after the construction and consecration of the parish church Klostermarienberg from 1680. During the construction, the previous church of the parish church, the so-called Georgi Chapel, was built into the east wing of the monastery as a single-nave four-bay room under a barrel vault with stitch caps between belts and with the wide gallery built over a groin vault.
During construction, the Heiligenkreuz monastery built on the ruins of the previous Marienberg monastery . Remnants of the previous monastery are recognizable as Gothic elements in the cloister, on the windows and in the northern porch as part of the frame of a portal.
The simple, unadorned two-storey building contains simple baroque rooms, some with ribbed vaults.
The monastery is used as a museum and for exhibitions. The European Dog Museum built on a collection of the cynologist Dieter Fleig .
