Mount Saint Joseph Convent (lat. Abbatia Beatae Mariae de Monte Sancti Joseph ;. English Mount St. Joseph Abbey ) is an Irish Abbey of Trappist monks in Roscrea , County Tipperary , Roman Catholic Diocese of Killaloe , Ireland.

history

Mount Melleray Monastery founded the daughter monastery of Mount Saint Joseph in central Ireland in 1878 , which was elevated to an abbey in 1885 . In 1905 the monks opened a college .
