The Roman Catholic Diocese of Killaloe ( ir. : Deoise Chill Dalua , lat. : Dioecesis Laoniensis ) is in Ireland situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Ennis .
history
At the Synod of Rathbreasail in 1111 the diocese was established and in 1152 Killaloe was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly as a suffragan at the Synod of Kells .
