The Roman Catholic Diocese of Cloyne ( ir. : Deoise Chluana , lat. : Dioecesis Cloynensis ) is in Ireland situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Cobh .

history

The diocese of Cloyne was established in 580 by Pope Pelagius II . 1152 the diocese of Cloyne was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly as a suffragan .
