The Roman Catholic Diocese of Cork and Ross ( ir. : Deoise Chorcaí agus Rosa , lat. : Dioecesis Corcagiensis et Rossensis ) is in Ireland situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in Cork .

history

The Diocese of Cork and Ross was established as the Diocese of Cork in the 7th century . 1152 the diocese of Cork was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly as a suffragan . On April 19, 1958, the Diocese of Ross was attached to the Diocese of Cork .
